Job Description:
As a Part-Time HVAC Technician at AK Light Electric Corp, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout Manhattan. You’ll work closely with our electrical and service teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality HVAC operations for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation units.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of HVAC systems.

• Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC units.

• Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience preferred (commercial).

• EPA certification required.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites in Manhattan.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repairs.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Schedule:

• Part-time (flexible schedule, weekday and/or weekend availability).

• Hours vary based on workload and project needs.
