Job Description:

As a Part-Time HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, great customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic checks, repairs, and maintenance on HVAC systems.

• Install new HVAC systems and components as needed.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical system failures.

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and building codes.

• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• EPA certification preferred (Type I & II or Universal).

• 2+ years of HVAC service or installation experience preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Position Type: Part-time (flexible hours, approximately 20–30 hours per week)

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

• Location: Rochester, NY and surrounding areas.
