Position Overview:
The Part-Time HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and able to work independently while delivering professional service to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps

• Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups

• Install HVAC units and components according to specifications and codes

• Inspect and troubleshoot system components and controls

• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear explanations of services and recommendations

• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes

Qualifications:

• EPA Certification required

• Valid HVAC Technician license (if applicable in NYS)

• 2+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold conditions)

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Schedule:

• Part-time position (flexible hours available)

• Some weekend or evening availability may be required
