HVAC Technician
Position Overview:
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for light commercial clients. The ideal candidate is dependable, knowledgeable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulations.
Keep accurate service records and communicate clearly with customers and supervisors.
Collaborate with team members and support electrical projects as needed.
Qualifications:
HVAC technician certification or trade school training preferred.
2+ years of HVAC experience (commercial).
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, and controls.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time position (flexible schedule, approximately 20–25 hours per week).
